One person died and another was injured after two motorcycles collided on the Prithvi Highway at Baireni Bazaar in Galchhi Rural Municipality-6, Dhading.

Police said 29-year-old Raju Dhungana died on the spot. The other rider, 39-year-old Hom Bahadur Tamang, was injured and taken to Baireni Hospital for treatment.

Traffic police from Baireni Police Station reached the scene and took both vehicles under control. Police said further investigation into the accident is underway.
