In the ongoing vote count for the House of Representatives (HoR) elections, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has so far won in 15 constituencies.
According to the results until 6 am, RSP's candidates are leading in 102 constituencies in the votes tally.
Election results have been so far declared in 20 constituencies so far, the EC stated.
The Election Commission has announced that RSP candidates Santosh Rajbanshi from Morang Constituency-4, Rubina Acharya from Morang 6, Manish Jha from Dhanusha 3, Ranju Neupane from Kathmandu 1, Rajunath Pandey from Kathmandu 3, Pukar Bam from Kathmandu 4, Sasmit Pokharel from Kathmandu 5, Ganesh Parajuli from Kathmandu 7, Birajbhakta Shrestha from Kathmandu 8, Dol Prasad Aryal from Kathmandu 9, Pradeep Bista from Kathmandu 10, Uttam Prasad Paudel from Kaski 2, Bina Gurung from Kaski 3, Kanhaiya Baniya from Rupandehi 4 and Suresh Kumar Chaudhary from Banke 1 have been victorious.
Vote counting is currently underway in 160 out of a total of 165 constituencies under the first-past-the-post (direct) election system.
The Nepali Congress has won in three constituencies. Tek Bahadur Gurung has won in Manang 1, Yogesh Gauchan Thakali in Mustang 1, and Basana Thapa in Dailekh 1. In the ongoing vote counting, the Nepali Congress candidates are leading in 11 constituencies.
The coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has already won the HoR Member election from Rukum East 1. The NCP candidates are leading in 11 areas in the ongoing vote count.
Similarly, the CPN-UML candidates are leading in 12 electoral constituencies. The party's Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai has won the election in Banke electoral constituency No. 1.
The candidates of the Shram Sanskriti Party are leading in three constituencies while the candidate of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party in one place, and an independent candidate in one place.
