Israel’s military said it struck a major underground bunker in Iran using more than 50 fighter jets and over 100 munitions.

The bunker was reportedly built for Iranian leaders to use during emergencies. Iran has spent decades constructing such underground facilities, AP reported.

Israel said the strikes also targeted the Supreme National Security Council building and a Revolutionary Guard military academy.
