The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in 96 constituencies according to the vote count released under the House of Representatives elections held on Thursday.
According to the Election Commission, vote counting is currently in progress in 135 constituencies by 5 pm today, the RSP is leading in 96 constituencies, while Nepali Congress in 11 constituencies, CPN-UML in 10 constituencies and Nepali Communist Party in nine places.
Similarly, the Shram Sankriti Party is leading in three places, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Progressive Democratic Party, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, and independent candidates are ahead in one place each.
So far, one candidate from RSP and one from the Nepali Congress have been victorious.
RSP's candidate Ranju Darshana has won from Kathmandu Constituency- 1 with 15,455 votes, and Congress's Yogesh Gauchan Thakali has won from Mustang with 3,307 votes.
