A candidate representative of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has died in Morang. The deceased has been identified as Durga Regmi, 50, of Rangeli-9, said SP Kabit Katuwal of the District Police Office, Morang.

According to him, he suddenly fainted at 11:45 am while having lunch near the counting site. 

He was taken to Rangeli Hospital for treatment and doctors at the hospital declared him dead.

He was the representative of the RSP candidate from Morang constituency number 2, Krishna Karki.
