RSP candidates leading in all nine constituencies in Kathmandu

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates are maintaining a lead in all nine constituencies of Kathmandu as the vote counting under the House of Representatives elections continues.

According to the results received by 1 pm today, Sunil KC of RSP has secured a lead in Kathmandu-2 with 5,897 votes. His closest contender, Kabir Sharma of the Nepali Congress, received 2,206 votes, and Kuntidevi Pokharel of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 1,469 votes.

In Kathmandu Constituency- 3, RSP candidate Rajunath Pandey is leading with 6,584 votes. His nearest competitor, Kulman Ghising of the Ujyalo Nepal Party, has received 4,220 votes, while Ramesh Aryal of the Nepali Congress has received 2,190 votes.

Similarly, in Kathmandu-4 – RSP candidate Pukar Bom is leading with 6,284 votes. His competitor, Congress's Sachin Timilsina, has received 1,907 votes, and CPN-UML's Rajan Bhattarai has received 1,479 votes.

In Kathmandu-5, RSP's Sasmit Pokharel is ahead in the vote tally, securing 11,433 votes. His closest competitor, Pradeep Paudel of the Congress, has received 3,556 votes, and Ishwar Pokharel of the UML has received 1,908 votes.

In Kathmandu-6, Shishir Khanal of RSP has received 10,615 votes and is leading. His competitor, Congress's Sabuj Krishna Baniya Chhetri, has received 2,775 votes, and UML's Aman Kumar Maskey has received 1,612 votes.

In Kathmandu-7 constituency, RSP's candidate Ganesh Parajuli has maintained the lead by receiving 10,273 votes, followed by Prakash Shrestha of UML with 1,672 votes and Basanta Prasad Manandhar of the Nepali Communist Party with 1,389 votes.

Likewise, in Kathmandu-8, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of RSP has received 14,751 votes. Suman Sayami of the Nepali Communist Party has received 1,995 votes and Sapana Rajbhandari of Congress has received 1,645 votes.

In Kathmandu constituency 9, Dol Prasad Aryal of RSP has maintained a lead by securing 5,559 votes while Nepali Congress's Nanumaiya Bastola received 1,116 votes and UML's Ajaykranti Shakya received 970 votes.

In Kathmandu-10, RSP candidate Pradeep Bista has maintained his lead by securing 8,508 votes. His competitor from the Nepali Congress, Himal Karki, received 2,056 votes, and Binod Shrestha of the UML received 1,221 votes.

In Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, Ranju Darshana from RSP has already won with 15,455 votes.
