Counting of votes in Gorkha-2 will start at 1pm at the Land and Watershed Management Office in Gorkha Municipality-8.

Ballot boxes from 23 polling stations in Gorkha-1 are still pending due to bad weather, delaying counting there. Army helicopters are on standby to transport them.

A total of 121,263 votes were cast in the district, with 64,005 in Gorkha-1 and 57,258 in Gorkha-2.
