The Rastiya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in 14 of the 15 constituencies in the Kathmandu Valley in the preliminary vote count of the House of Representatives election.

RSP candidates are leading in 10 constituencies in Kathmandu, including Ranju Darshana, Sunil KC, Rajunath Pandey, Pukar Bam, Sasmit Pokharel, Shishir Khanal, Ganesh Parajuli, Birajbhakta Maharjan, DP Aryal, and Pradeep Bista.

In Lalitpur, Jagadish Kharel and Tosima Karki are ahead, while Udaya Shumsher Rana of the Nepali Congress leads in Lalitpur-1. In Bhaktapur, Rukesh Ranjit is leading in Constituency-1 ahead of Prem Suwal, while Rajiv Khatri is ahead in Constituency-2, with Mahesh Basnet of the CPN trailing.
