The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 21. 62 points to close at 2, 638. 60 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 2. 31 points to close at 453. 37 points.

A total of 9,364,938-unit shares of 328 companies were traded for Rs 1. 51 billion.

Meanwhile, Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 43 trillion.
