Nepse surges by 9. 23 points on Thursday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 9. 23 points to close at 2, 714. 61 points on Thursday. 

The sensitive index, however, dropped by 0. 47 points to close at 465. 42 points.

A total of 19,075,756-unit shares of 332 companies were traded for Rs 1. 55 billion.

Meanwhile, SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL), Shreenagar Agritech Industries Limited (SAIL) and Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) were the top gainers today, with their price surging by 10. 00 percent. 

Likewise,  Kalika power Company Ltd (KPCL) was the top loser as its price fell by 6. 25 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 55 trillion.
