Nepali rider makes history at Extreme Enduro Race in India

Nepali rider Surakshya KC achieved a historic milestone at the third edition of the Extreme Enduro Race held in India by successfully challenging the obstacles.

The race took place at Big Rocks School in Kolar, India, and featured steep climbs, descents, large rocks, technical off-road sections, and highly demanding terrain. Despite falling several times during the race, Surakshya managed to get back up and complete the course.

With this achievement, she became the first woman to finish the race and win a trophy while competing alongside male riders. No woman had previously completed the event.

Her achievement is being seen as an inspiring moment for women in Nepal’s motorsports sector, particularly in off-road motorcycle racing. Surakshya said the accomplishment has strengthened the presence of women in the sport and opened new possibilities for future riders.

Surakshya KC is also a Nepali moto vlogger with over 900,000 subscribers on YouTube.
