The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 4. 59 points to close at 2, 640. 54 points on Thursday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 0. 92 points to close at 455. 93 points.

A total of 10,431,760-unit shares of 328 companies were traded for Rs 1. 50 billion.

Meanwhile, Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 8. 16 percent. 

Likewise, Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) was the top loser as its price fell by 3. 90 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 43 trillion.
