The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 9. 93 points to close at 2, 649. 30 points on Tuesday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 2. 31 points to close at 457. 23 points.

A total of 14,831,241-unit shares of 334 companies were traded for Rs 1. 51 billion.

Meanwhile, Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittya Sanstha Ltd (JBLB) was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9. 97 percent. 

Likewise, Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) was the top loser as its price fell by 8. 41 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 44 trillion.
