Six persons died in a jeep accident at Jurikhet in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-6,  Hetauda district on Sunday evening.

Among nine persons injured in the accident, six persons died while receiving treatment, according to Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Makwanpur. 

The jeep (Na 1 Ja 1778) was heading towards Hetauda from Kathmandu via Bhimphedi-Kulekhani road section when the incident occurred. 

Spokesperson Bogati further said the injured ones were rescued immediately and taken to Hetauda Hospital. However, the identities of the deceased are yet to be established. . 

Three others injured in the incident have been undergoing treatment at the Hetauda Hospital.
