The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 10. 66 points to close at 2, 615. 03 points on Thursday. 

Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 1. 63 points to close at 450. 22 points.

A total of 11,291, 401-unit shares of 329 companies were traded for Rs 1. 48 billion.

Meanwhile, Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) and SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) were the top gainers today with their price surging by 10. 00 percent.

Likewise, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) was the top loser as its price fell by 4. 76 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 39 trillion.
