KP Sharma Oli’s panel has secured victory in the election of all secretary posts of the CPN-UML.

A total of nine secretaries were elected from the party’s 11th General Convention, in line with the revised UML statute that provides for nine secretary positions.

Mahesh Basnet secured the highest 1,544 votes followed by Padmakumari Aryal with 1,530 votes, Chhabilal Bishwakarma with 1,506 votes, Sherdhan Rai with 1,503 votes, Hikmat Kumar Karki with 1,337 votes, Khagaraj Adhikari with 1,231 votes, Yamalal Kandel with 1,185 votes, Rajan Bhattarai with 1,181 votes and Bhanubhakta Dhakal with 1,108 votes.
