Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 4. 67 points to close at 456. 98 points.

A total of 15,736,372-unit shares of 342 companies were traded for Rs 7. 08 billion.

Meanwhile, Sagar Distillery Limited (SAGAR) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.
Likewise, 10% NIMB Debenture 2090 (NIMBD90) was the top loser as its price fell by 8. 99 percent.

At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 1. 50 trillion.
