President Ramchandra Paudel has extended his best wishes for stability, good governance, and prosperity in the country on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami 2082 BS. 

In his message issued today, President Paudel extended his greetings for happiness, peace, prosperity, and continuous progress to all Nepalese sisters and brothers, both at home and abroad.

The Head of the State said, "On the day of the Vijaya Dashami, a symbol of the victory of truth, righteousness, and justice, we receive the blessings, tika, and jamara from respected elders. I pray to Goddess Durga for harmony, goodwill, and welfare throughout the nation.”

President Paudel believes that Vijaya Dashami 2082 will bring peace and welfare to all humanity across the world. 

However, he is not offering the Dashain tika to the members of the general public this year​, considering the present adverse situation in the nation, the Office of the President said.

Although it is a tradition for the President giving the Dashain tika to the general public on the occasion of the Bada Dashain festival every year, the President has no such program this time, it is stated.
