Nepse surges by 111. 70 points on Sunday

 The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 111. 70  points to close at 2, 623. 62 points on Sunday.

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 19. 07 points to close at 455. 28 points.

A total of 20,032,224-unit shares of 329 companies were traded for Rs 9. 17 billion.

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU), Bhugol Energy Development Company Limited (BEDC), Goodwill Finance Limited (GFCL), SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) and Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd (JOSHI) were the top gainers today, with their price surging by 10. 00 percent. Likewise, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited (SPIL) was the top loser as its price fell by 7. 64 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 1. 49 trillion.
