Curfew relaxed in Kathmandu Valley

The Nepal Army has continued curfew in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

Issuing a statement, the Directorate of Public Relations and Information of Nepal Army stated that there is a need to gradually relax the curfew imposed for for the protection of citizens' lives and property.

The Nepal Army said that people will be allowed to travel from 6 am to 10 am  and from 5 pm to 7 pm today for essential works.

The Army has also stated that employees working in public institutions, including government offices, banks and financial institutions, can travel to and from their offices by showing their identity cards.

Similarly, passengers of domestic and international flights will be able to travel to and from the airport by showing their flight tickets.
