27 held with Rs 3.37 million in cash, weapons

Nepal Army has arrested 27 people involved in unlawful activities.

The army has stated that those arrested were found involved in taking unfair advantage of the adverse situation and engaging in destructive, chaotic and disorderly activities with the intention of looting, arson and causing loss of life and property.

Similarly, police have also recovered Rs 3. 37 million in cash from their possession.

They were apprehended from Gaushala, Chabahil and Boudha areas.

Likewise, the army has also recovered 31 different types of weapons, including 23 guns, magazines, and bullets from various locations in Kathmandu and eight guns from Pokhara, Nepal Army stated.
