The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 12. 13 points to close at 2,976. 33 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 1. 86 points to close at 515. 74 points.
A total of 44,124,924-unit shares of 321 companies were traded for Rs 19. 36 billion.
Meanwhile, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9. 00 percent. Likewise, Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) was the top loser as its price fell by 8. 49 percent.
At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 94 trillion.
