Two persons died on the spot and 15 others sustained injuries in a jeep accident at Tunigada in Bajura district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Baja Rokaya (76) and Bijaura Rokaya (75) of Himali Rural Municipality-5 in the district.
According to Amlal Karki, both of them died on the spot.
The jeep (Ba Pra 03001 Ja 0338) belonging to Shahi Travels was heading towards Dhulachaur from Kiudi when the tragedy occurred.
The District Police Office, Bajura said that further details about the incident are yet to come.
District Police Office Information Officer Dev Bahadur Chaudhary said that a team has already headed towards the incident site.
