Ritu Singh Vaidya appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for Menstruation

Female entrepreneur and former Miss India Ritu Singh Vaidya has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for Menstruation.

The Global South Coalition for Dignified Menstruation, which has been working to establish menstruation as a matter of human rights, dignity and gender equality, has appointed Vaidya as its first Goodwill Ambassador.

This historic responsibility has been given to Vaidya, former Miss India, successful female entrepreneur, chairperson of NAIMUN and member of SAARC Nepal.

Vaidya has been appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador for one year in a mutual agreement between Radha Paudel Foundation and GSCDM.

Founding coordinator of the campaign Dr Radha Paudel said that this responsibility will bring the campaign to the center of global politics and social debate.
