The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 31. 44 points to close at 2,662. 92 points on Tuesday.

Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 6. 49 points to close at 457. 05 points.

A total of 15,764,001-unit shares of 309 companies were traded for Rs 7. 03 billion.

Meanwhile,  Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL)​​​​was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9. 87 percent. Likewise, Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) was the top loser as its price fell by 2. 13 percent.

At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 1. 50 trillion.
