Durga Prasain among seven sent to judicial custody

The Kathmandu District Court on Thursday issued an order to send Durga Prasain and six others to  judicial custody on the charge of inciting criminal activities in the Capital City. 

A single bench of District Judge Dhruba Raj Karki issued an order to send Prasain and six others to judicial custody for their roles in the Tinkune incident. 

Two persons including a photo journalist at Avenues Television Suresh Rajak had died during the violent demonstration of pro-monarchy protesters in Tinkune on May 28. 

Likewise, the court has ordered to release 32 others on bail in the same case.
