Nagarik Unmukti Party lawmaker Lal Bir Chaudhary has demanded the government's opinion to the arrest of Resham Chaudhary.

Speaking at the ‘emergency time’ of the House of Representatives on Monday, Chaudhary said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak should come to the House and answer regarding the arrest of Resham Chaudhary.

He warned that his party would quit the government if they failed to do so.

Lawmaker Chaudhary mentioned that Resham Chaudhary was detained and sent to Dillibazar Jail based on a fake letter.

He was of the opinion that Prime Minister Oli and Home Minister Lekhak should come to the House and answer this issue as the Supreme Court has already declared the letter fake.
