CPN-UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula has urged the government to address the genuine demands of agitating teachers.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, the government should settle the problems by holding a discussion with the teachers immediately.

"The Education Minister has been holding discussions continuously with representatives of teachers. I am hopeful that there will be a breakthrough by this evening", said Bartaula.
