AMN honors players participating in 16th World Championship of Yogasana Sports

Annapurna Media Network has honored the players of Nepal taking part in the 16th World Championship of Yogasana Sports 2025 to be held in Malaysia.

Annapurna Media Network General Manager Manoj Basnet honored them amidst a program held at the AMN’s headquarters in Tinkune on Wednesday.

Five children from the Namuna Children’s Home operated by the Women's Development and Child Awareness Center in Urlabari, Morang, are participating in the competition.

Kiran Magar, Swachha Thapa, Chandani Sewa Darji, Jaya Chaudhary and Sundar Karki are taking part in the competition from the Namuna Children’s Home.

During the National Yoga Games, Kiran and Swachha had won gold medals and Chandani, Jaya and Sundar won silver medals.

“We honored them to boost their energy so that they can represent the country through yoga and sports,” General Manager Basnet said.

On the occasion, Mina Devi Baral, Chairperson of the Women’s Development and Child Awareness Center, said that it is a proud moment for them that the children from the orphanage home are introducing the country to the world through yoga and sports.

There are 68 children in the Namuna Children’s Home.
