JSPN Chair Yadav demands action against guilty in Tinkune violence

Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has demanded stern action against those involved in the violent activities that occurred at Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Chair Yadav made such a demand while speaking at a program organized by the Raphat Media Club, Bhaktapur on Monday. "The government must bring to book those involved in criminal and violent activities," he stressed.

Yadav reminded that every citizen has a right to express his/her views, but the March 28 demonstration leading to murder, arson and vandalism in the name of restoring monarchy was anti-democratic. The unitary system had already been abolished, thereby establishing the federal democratic republic, he said, adding that the political parties need to correct themselves so that the elements for monarchy would not rear their heads.

The leader further argued that the political parties ruling after the federal democratic republic were not delivering as per people's expectation. "The Federal government itself has obstructed the implementation of federalism," he blamed.
