Junga Bahadur Shahi of CPN-UML has been elected as the chairman of Mahabu Rural Municipality of Dailekh.
According to the Office of Chief Returning Officer, Shahi garnered 3, 127 votes while his closest rival Jhalak Bahadur Bhandari of the Nepali Congress got 2, 675 votes.
Similarly, Junga Bahadur Baral Magar of the CPN (Maoist Center) secured 842 votes.
