Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya won a vote of confidence from the Province Assembly on Tuesday. He was appointed the Chief Minister on July 22.
Chief Minister Acharya secured 70 votes while 11 Province Assembly members voted against him today, Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar announced in the meeting of the Province Assembly.
There are 87 members in Lumbini Province.
