Nepse surges by 35. 55 points on Tuesday
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 35.55 points to close at 2,696.65 points on Tuesday.
Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 3.23 points to close at 485. 38 points.
A total of 40,371,778-unit shares of 329 companies were traded for Rs 17. 26 billion.
Meanwhile, Progressive Finance Limited (PROFL), Barun Hydropower Co. Ltd. (BARUN), SANJEN JALAVIDHYUT COMPANY LIMITED (SJCL) and Nepal Warehousing Company Limited (NWCL) were the top gainers today, with their price surging by 10. 00 percent.
Likewise, Asian Hydropower Limited was the top loser as its price fell by 10.00 percent.
At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 4. 27 trillion.
