Govt to allocate Rs 590 million for information technology sector
The government has announced that it would allocate Rs 590 million for the information technology sector.
Finance Minister Barshaman Pun announced the allocation of Rs 590 million for the information technology sector while presenting the annual budget for the fiscal year 2024/25 in the federal Parliament on Tuesday.
He said that an action plan will be made to provide employment to 500,000 people directly and one million indirectly in the information technology sector.
Minister Pun said that a high-speed internet will be provided to the people.
