The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 27.54 points to close at 2,092.00 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index surged by 7.31 points to close at 374. 07 points.
A total of 14,370,689-unit shares of 315 companies were traded for Rs 5. 85 billion.
Meanwhile, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBSL), Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) and Bhagawati Hydropower Development Company Limited (BGWT) were the top gainers today, with their price surging by 10. 00 percent.
Likewise, Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) was the top loser as its price fell by 7.40 percent.
At the end of the day, total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 31 trillion.
