The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) plunged by 17. 01 points to close at 2,031.55 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index dropped by 4. 64 points to close at 360. 77 points.
A total of 7,061,012-unit shares of 304 companies were traded for Rs 2. 48 billion.
Meanwhile, Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited (BNL) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 10. 00 percent.
At the end of the day, the total market capitalization stood at Rs 3. 22 trillion.
