Two persons died in a fight between two groups of youths in Dholahiti of Lalitpur on Sunday.

SP Naresh Raj Subedi of the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur informed that two youths died in a gang fight in Dholahiti, Lalitpur last night.

The deceased have been identified as Robash Rai (28) of Sunsari and currently residing in Dholahiti and Pujan Rai (30) of Panchthar and presently living in Khumaltar.

The body of Pujan has been kept at the Sumeru Hospital while the body of Robash in Patan Hospital, Subedi informed.

He said that one sustained deep injuries on the side of the chest and the other the thigh in a knife attack.

Police have arrested 18 persons for their alleged involvement in the incident.

Police said that they were murdered by using a sharp weapon.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, SP Subedi said.
