UML to field Suhang Nembang for by-election in Ilam-2

The CPN-UML has decided to field Suhang Nembang as its candidate for the by-election in Ilam-2.

A Secretariat meeting held on Sunday morning decided to field Nembang as the party candidate for the by-election in Ilam-2, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali said.

The by-election is being held in Ilam-2 after the demise of UML leader Subash Chandra Nembang, father of Suhang.

Similarly, the meeting has decided to field Daman Bahadur Bhandari as the party candidate in Bajhang.

The by-election is to be held in Bajhang Province Assembly (A) after the death of Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Prithvi Bahadur Singh.

The meeting has also decided to appeal to other parties to make its candidates victorious in the election.
