Former Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun’s son Dipesh Pun nabbed
Police on Friday arrested Dipesh Pun, son of former Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, in connection to the gold smuggling.
Police apprehended Pun for being involved in the gold smuggling.
A high-level commission formed to probe the gold smuggling had recommended action against Pun, General Secretary of the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), student wing of ruling CPN (Maoist Center).
Police have started further investigation into Pun.
Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane submitted the report prepared by the high-level commission to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Friday.
A Cabinet meeting held today decided to implement the report of the commission.
