Shyamlal Gyawali appointed CIB Chief, Kiran Bajracharya recalled to Police headquarters
Chief of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police Kiran Bajracharya has been recalled to Nepal Police headquarters.
A Cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to recall Bajracharya to the Nepal Police headquarters.
The government has also decided to appoint Shyamlal Gyawali as the Chief of the CIB.
A high-level probe commission formed to probe the gold smuggling has recommended departmental action against Bajracharya for failing to perform his job effectively.
