Indefinite curfew clamped in Nepalgunj
The District Administration Office, Banke has clamped an indefinite curfew in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City.
Chief District Officer Bipin Acharya issued a curfew order from 1 pm today until further notice.
The District Administration Office said that the curfew was clamped in the Nepalgunj area after the dispute broke out between the Hindus and Muslims during the rally taken out by the Muslim Community on Tuesday morning.
The Muslim Community took out the rally expressing dissatisfaction over the status posted by some people misusing the social networking sites.
The Office said that necessary action will be taken against those boycotting the order.
Meanwhile, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana has appealed to the members of the society to maintain social harmony in Nepalgunj.
