Constitution Day celebrations in Tundikhel (With photos)
The government has celebrated Constitution Day by organizing a special program on Wednesday.
A special program was organized at the Army Pavilion in Tundikhel on the occasion of ninth Constitution Day.
President Ram Chandra Paudel, Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah among others were present in the program.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, however, did not attend the program as he is currently in New York to take part in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Constitution was promulgated on September 20, 2015.
