Two more persons arrested in connection with Lalita Niwas land grab case

Two more persons have been arrested in connection with the Lalita Niwas land grab case.

SSP Dinesh Acharya of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) said that Sanjay Kumar Maharjan and Sakulananda Maharjan were apprehended after they were found involved in embezzling the land of Lalita Niwas by being fake tenants.

It has been found that both of them became fake tenants in 2002 and 2010.

With this, the number of people arrested in the Lalita Niwas lang grab case has reached 23.

Twenty persons including former election commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah and Bhatbhateni Supermarket Chairman Min Bahaudr Gurung were arrested earlier in the Lalita Niwas scam.
