A jailbird committed suicide inside a prison in Nepalgunj, Banke on Thursday. Neeraj Gupta (23) of Janaki Rural Municipality-6 was found hanging in the bathroom this morning, said Banke Chief District Officer Bipin Acharya. Gupta has been in jail for the past three years.

The family and relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident, CDO Acharya said.
