Eight persons died in a jeep accident in Pyuthan on Monday. The District Police Office, Pyuthan said that the jeep carrying pilgrims was returning from Swargadwari when the incident occurred this afternoon. Police said that the jeep (Lu 1 Cha 6345) met with an accident at Takura near Bhingri.

Police said that all the eight persons traveling in the jeep died on the spot.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
