Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal expanded his Cabinet on Tuesday. Birendra Prasad Mahato of the Janata Samajbadi Party has been appointed as the Minister for Forest and Environment. President Ram Chandra Paudel appointed Mahato as the Minister for Forest and Environment on the recommendation of Prime Minister Dahal.

Similarly, Pramila Kumari of the Janata Samajbadi Party has been appointed as the Minister for Education, Science and Technology.

Earlier, Ashok Kumar Rai of the Janata Samajbadi Party was appointed as the Minister for Education.
