4.3 magnitude earthquake hits Bajura

A 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit Bajura district at 5:15 am on Thursday. The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, Kathmandu said that the epicenter of the quake was Bichhya in Bajura district. Earlier, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake had jolted Bajura district on May 6.

The mountainous and hilly areas of Nepal are considered to be prone to earthquakes.
