Speaker Devraj Ghimire warned lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh of taking action as per the parliamentary rules. The speaker directed Singh to be decent after he stripped off his shirt during a meeting of the Parliament on Monday morning. Speaker Ghimire asked Singh to think about the parliamentary dignity after he took off his shirt.

Singh and Nepal Workers’ and Peasants Party lawmaker Prem Suwal demanded time after Speaker Ghimire said that special time and emergency time are not promoted in the meeting.

Singh took off his shirt in protest after the Speaker refused to give him time to speak.
