Nepal registered a stunning seven-run victory over the host UAE by seven runs in the final match played today under the ICC U-19 Men’s World Cup Asia Qualifiers tournament in the UAE.
With the win, Nepal have been qualified for the ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka next year.
In the match played at the Eden Garden Oval in Ajman, Nepal set a target of 192 runs against the UAE.
In the run chase, the UAE scored 184 runs losing all the wickets in 48 overs.
Meanwhile, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced Rs 100,000 each to the members of the U-19 cricket team.
