The Democratic Socialist Party (DSP) has decided to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
A Parliamentary Party meeting of the party held on Tuesday made the decision to this effect, party leader Keshav Jha said.
Earlier, the party had entrusted Chairman Mahantha Thakur with the responsibility to make a decision on whether to give a vote of confidence to PM Dahal or not.
PM Dahal is seeking the vote of confidence today.
Dahal was appointed the prime minister with the support of seven parties including the CPN-UML on December 25. Earlier, the CPN (Unified Socialist) had also decided to give a vote of confidence to PM Dahal.
